Fighting for PA's Jobs

Chad’s roots in Lancaster, PA run generations. His grandfather worked at the local chocolate factory, and his family’s success was made possible by good-paying jobs that allowed them to build a stable life. Chad knows that for the next generation to have the same opportunities, we need strong economic development in our communities.

That means investing in our roads, bridges, and public transit, expanding access to all forms of education and job training, and making sure federal, state, and local grant dollars make it back to our neighborhoods—not just big cities. Chad will fight to bring our fair share home from Harrisburg and Washington, D.C., so we can secure generational investments right here in our own backyard.

Our Seniors

Chad has shown a strong dedication to supporting older Pennsylvanians, especially through supporting initiatives such as the "Aging Our Way, PA" plan and the expansion of the Property Tax/Rent Rebate program.

  • Aging Our Way, PA Plan: This 10-year plan, launched by Governor Shapiro and the Pennsylvania Department of Aging (PDA), is a roadmap to address the needs of Pennsylvania's senior population and improve services. The plan was developed with input from various stakeholders and focuses on areas like access to services, transportation, caregiver supports, and community engagement.

  • Empowering seniors to age with dignity and independence in their homes and communities.

  • Providing financial relief through expanded tax rebate programs.

  • Improving access to healthcare, in-home support, and caregiver resources.

  • Ensuring quality of care in nursing homes and other facilities.

  • Increasing transparency and accountability within the state's aging services network.

Protecting our Communities

Chad proudly supports the brave men and women serving in our local and state law enforcement agencies—those who put their lives on the line every day to protect our communities. As a Police Sergeant, Chad has first hand experience with the challenges facing our first responders and the communities they serve. He knows they need modern tools and resources to do their jobs effectively and safely. Chad is committed to securing the most up-to-date support and resources from the state and pledges to stand with all first responders during these critical times.

  • Chad will fight to secure critical funding for our fire and EMS companies during this time of crisis—when traditional fundraising efforts have become nearly impossible, yet the demand for emergency services continues to rise. He understands that without strong support, our first responders can’t do their life-saving work, and he’s committed to making sure they have the resources they need.

  • No law enforcement officer on duty should be deliberately targeted or put in harm’s way. Given the physical risks that come with the job, police officers deserve the same protections under the law as others—ensuring they can serve and protect our communities as safely as possible.

Education and Our School's

Every child deserves access to a high-quality education. Chad will work to ensure our schools are fully funded, safe, and equipped to prepare students for lifelong success. That means investing in career and technical education, expanding access to pre-kindergarten, and supporting mental health programs. Fighting for increased state funding not only strengthens our schools—it also eases the burden on local property taxpayers, helping ensure that our kids get the education they deserve without pushing senior citizens out of their homes.

Constituent Services

The core responsibility of a state representative is to make sure the people they serve have access to the government services they deserve. Chad Gleissl is committed to continuing the tradition of top-tier constituent services that residents of PA House District 37 have come to expect. His office will be a resource and problem-solver for anyone facing challenges navigating government systems. And if Chad can’t solve it directly, he’ll find the right person who can—and make sure it gets done.

Support Pennsylvania Farmers

Chad is committed to strengthening Pennsylvania agriculture through strategic investments in innovation, the protection of local food systems, farmland preservation, and the promotion of sustainable practices. His plan also includes addressing critical challenges and enhancing agricultural infrastructure to support farmers across the state.

  • Under Chad’s leadership, Pennsylvania will continue to lead the nation in farmland preservation—protecting more acres from development and ensuring the future of farming for generations to come.

  • Chad will prioritize swift, coordinated responses to agricultural challenges, including avian flu, organic farming needs, and animal health issues.

  • Additionally, with the Pennsylvania Farm Bill fully funded for the sixth consecutive year—providing $13.8 million in support—Chad is committed to continuing this investment to benefit local farmers, particularly in Lancaster County and beyond.
