Chad Gleissl is a lifelong public servant, a dedicated law enforcement officer, and a proud product of a working-class Pennsylvania family. Born in Lancaster County, Chad is the first in the Gleissl family to be born in the United States. His father, a German immigrant and welder, and his mother, a U.S. Army veteran and office worker, instilled in him the values of hard work, service, and integrity.

At just 17, Chad took a stand against wasteful school spending and ran for his local school board—winning his first primary election before he was even old enough to vote for himself. His mission was clear then, as it is now: fight for good education, stand up for what's right, and fight for common-sense solutions that put our community first.

Chad has spent his career in law enforcement, where he’s earned recognition at both the local and international level. He was awarded an International Community Policing Award in 2022 for leading efforts to build trust between officers and the communities they serve. That same year, he was promoted to Sergeant, and in 2024, he received the Medal of Valor for bravery during a deadly hostage situation stemming from domestic violence.

He’s seen firsthand the damage caused by the drug epidemic, the breakdown of trust in institutions, and the growing divide between citizens and those elected to serve them. That’s why Chad is running—to bridge that divide, bring accountability back to government, and stand up for the working families that too often go unheard.  Coming from a family with a strong military background, he holds a deep respect and pride for our nation’s service members—especially those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, he takes great pride in coming from a state that helped shape the foundation of this great nation. The founding principle that all people are created equal is not just a line in history—it's a value he strive to uphold every day.
